Dear Friends and Sponsors,
A Look Back on Our March Mission Moments
Every day has its God moments, where we see the hand of God, receive a hug from Him, or simply share a smile with someone. The best is when we witness people praying for salvation and deliverance, and then see the transformation right on their faces. God works when we pray, when we speak his name, when we share his love!
This month I had the privilege of translating for the dynamic Spirit-filled evangelist Connie Kesner. The messages were powerful, and 16 people came up to accept the Lord during our Friday, Saturday and Sunday services in Ranchito. The church attendance doubled while we were there.
We hosted the Calvary Academy senior class from Lakewood, New Jersey, for the 30th year in a row. These seniors came prepared to minister to children and they did it with excellence. They helped us give out the last of the Christmas presents, in the big schools in Constanza and Rio Verde. There were lots of happy children! First, we announced the best present of all, salvation and a relationship with Jesus Christ. The most amazing moment was on their beach day, when 11 students and a father were baptized!
We also hosted a team of students from Southern Missouri who came with Convoy of Hope. They helped measure and weigh the students in El Pino and Ponton and gave a talk about good food choices to the students and moms in Rose of Sharon. One student told me she has a friend who is interested in coming as an English teacher. I hope it works out! Every year we would like to have 2 or 3 American English teachers for La Vega Christian School. Spread the word!
On March 21 we had a ceremony where we gave certificates to the 70 teachers who completed the year of pedagogical training. This means they earned a raise as well. We are supporting 18 schools for Haitian children in the Dominican Republic, as well as helping 2 more in Haiti, just over the border. That’s over 1,000 students to educate, feed and love each day. We are completely dependent on God for the funds. We need more sponsors and more miracle donations, as these last two months the offerings were short. Would you consider making a special offering this month? Perhaps your automatic deduction has lapsed. If you can, please renew here by clicking here. Or you can send a check made out to “Teach Feed Love” and send it to TMCI, PO BOX 1761, Columbia, SC 29202.
The last picture is of one of our former Haitian teachers. He was able to get a saxophone from Instruments of Joy, a ministry that matches musical instruments with needy musicians. The Calvary team had it shipped to them and then brought it for him. They also brought suitcases of school supplies for the schools they visited. So many welcome gifts!
We appreciate your prayers, your visits, your support. Thank you, and God bless you.

Debbie and Mitch Martinez
